Daniel asks…
is anyone aware of payday loan co. giving your bank info to third parties claiming you authorized debits?
I applied at a payday loan co. and 3 times I ended up with debits from my account. Twice was for $19 for applying but the kicker is when $49.99 was taken from my account for a secret cash card? I found out where it came from and they claim I checked yes to one of the boxes on a payday loan appl. authorizing this third party company to send a check through my bank ordering a secret cash card thats a prepaid debit card thats suppose to give me online privacy when purchasing and protect me from companies and people from getting my personal info. Now it seems like I need that very protection from the stupid people thats selling it or fraudulently debited my account! The bank told me that when I applied for the loan I authorized the third parties to debit my account for various things. My thing is If your applying for ONE thing such as a payday advance how can it’s friend tom who sells shoes, joe who sells dog food and mary who sells secret cash cards legially take that money out my bank ?
Besides if I needed to apply for a payday loan then I didnt have money in the first place for no secret cash card and the funny thing is I never even got the loan!

Loans Guide answers:
UHH?? I’VE USED SEVERAL OF THE RIPE OFF PAYDAY LOANS, BUT NEVER ENCOUNTERED SOMETHING LIKE THIS… YOU REALLY NEED TO CLOSE THAT ACCOUT AND OPEN A NEW ONE. IF NOT, EVERY TOM, DICK AND HARRY MAYBE GETTIN EM SUM FREE MONIES….. THEN PUT STOP PYMT. ON THAT CHECK AND MAKE PYMTS TO THAT LOAN COMPANY TO GET THEM PAID OFF…

George asks…
Can I take legal action against a website that stole my information and sold it?
The other day I was looking at payday loan sites (yes I know terrible idea) and I found one that interested me. I filled out the information they asked for (including my SSN and bank account number) and after I submitted it they immediately told me I didnt qualify. Right after that my inbox got flooded with spam. I get about 300 spam emails a day now. I also keep getting phone calls and texts that are just spam. Somebody also tried to access my bank account but the bank stopped them. I confronted the website via online live chat (their phones “are not currently working”) and they swear up and down they dont spam and that its not from them. It has to be though because I never got spam before that and a majority of the spam was for payday loans. I want to know if there is some kind of legal action I can take against this site. Hope somebody can help me! Here is a link to their website
http://personalmoneystore.com/Payday-Loans/
They stole it because it was a loan application. They sold it to a bunch of spam sites so yes, I would consider that stealing. Seeing as they do not provide loans and just spam you, I would consider that stealing.
Wow spammers are so fucking retarded. Im asking if I can take a spammer to court and I get a bunch of spam replies offering me loans. I hate the internet.

Loans Guide answers:
A couple of issues…
The website did not steal your information. You typed it in and gave it to them.
Was there anything on the application that stated that your personal information would not be shared with anyone else? Lots of sites will sell or share e-mail lists with other companies, resulting in spam mail.
The violation I see offhand is the attempted entry into your bank account. I do not know how detailed the records are that your bank keeps, such as the address/name of the entity that was trying to access the account. Also bear in mind that you gave the loan site your bank account number. Did you read all the fine print? There may have been wording in there stating that by giving them your account number you were authorizing them to access the account. You need to be very careful about throwing around that information.
I seriously doubt that your computer has been hacked. The issue started after accessing and leaving information on another site, so if anyplace was hacked, it would be the website.

Thomas asks…
When is the best time to file bankruptcy?
I am a 27 year old who has a great job, yet has found himself in trouble with STUPID payday loans. I have a finance degree and cannot believe i have found myself facing this taboo topic of bankruptcy. Though i make good money, i cannot pay off these loans nor my bills. i feel bankruptcy will enable me to afford the simple things…i.e groceries. i have a meeting next week, i feel its my only choice…yes, my debt is consolidated and thats not helping…and creditors still call my work

Loans Guide answers:
I’m sorry that you appear to be yet another victim of the “cash advance cancer”. With the new stricter predatory lending laws in place, protecting consumers the carnage left behind from these “sharks” should cease.
I can not advise whether it would be beneficial for you to pursue bankrupt.
I would recommend that you look into it as only a last resort – remember those laws have changed as well .
Your young enough to make a financial recovery that does not involve having that on your credit record potentially harming you more than a few paid collections that will disappear 3 years earlier that a bankruptcy – a without the stigma.
Meanwhile, I wish you well on your recovery from the shark bite.

Susan asks…
Will the bank tell a Payday loan company holding my check about my savings account?
Yeah I was dumb, the checking and savings where never tied together. The payday loan tried to force it open, before the due date of the check, so I closed out the checking account, yes I have to pay them but not thru my savings account? The payday loan co. is not giving us the time they promised, an never tell you of the hidden costs, the savings is to pay for new teeth, when my dental work is done, which is $700. the Cardiologist told me I needed this done, for the teeth are causing damage to my heart an blood chemistry,I’ve already paid half of dental work,I must use the savings accuont to complete the dental work, would the bank tell the Pay-day loan co.about the savings account? Is the bank requried to tell them? plzz need your help, thank you, very much.

Loans Guide answers:
I honestly do not think the bank can legally give your financial information to anyone or place of business without a conscent form signed by you. Unless while applying for the loan you signed an agreement to have your savings withdrawn in the event of nonpayment of the loan. (which I doubt considering it deals with checking accounts and not savings). The only account number the payday loan co has is your checking and you since have closed it. I will tell you that by not paying the loan you have created a big problem for yourself. The payday co has a legalized document signed by you and your promise to pay. It will go to court and it will cost you BIG TIME!!! They then will cease your savings and possibly garnish your wages by holding a judgement against you. This happens every day to many people who end up in the payday loan trap. Be smart and don’t let it go this far. You will end up paying three times the amount of the loan including late fees and court costs. As far as the unknown hidden costs you speak of. When applying for the loan you should have gotten a reciept or paper explaining the costs, interest, and the due date.

Sandy asks…
I just wanted to know if Fund My Payday Loan is a Scam. Can I trust it? I need your help!!?

Loans Guide answers:
I would suggest that using any service offering anything associated with or involving Pay Day Loans is detrimental to your short, medium and long term financial stability.
Stay away from anyting involving Pay-Day Loans and Title Loans no matter how desperate you may think things are.

Donald asks…
Does anyone know where to get a loan for people with poor credit but very stable jobs?
The reason why we need this loan is to get out of the payday/title loan trap and to payback other small loans. We had a bankrutpcy but is was dismissed last year. We were a victim of a loan scam and they took our money. Does anyone have any ideas on a legitimate lender that would work with us?
We need to consolidate so that we would have one monthly payment. We do not have collateral.

Loans Guide answers:
Is it wrong to prey upon financially strapped folks by trying to sell them stuff?
Type in google:
“poor credit loan rates”

John asks…

Daniel asks…
Is there anyway for a person with awful credit to get a personal loan of $5,000? All I’ve seen are scams.?
I’m desperate for a loan and really don’t think there’s an option other than payday loans. Does anyone know if there is such a company or private lender that gives bad credit personal loans?

Loans Guide answers:
They are all scams. Besides the payday loans which are a very desperate option, you could try to increase your credit rating if that is possible. It takes 6 months to a year to do so if you can wait that long. If you can’t you can always borrow from family or friends. The thing is if you don’t pay it back then you are in deep trouble.

Sharon asks…

Robert asks…
Can I consolidate my payday loans?
I know I’m a complete idiot for even getting one, but now i have 7 payday loans and I want to get rid of them all. Should I use a consolidation company like Destination Debt Solutions? I’ve tried getting a personal loan, but I’ve been declined on all of them and I don’t have enough in my 401k to borrow to pay them all off. Can anyone give me any good advice? I’m really desperate in getting them and I know I’m an idiot, so please advice only.
Please no other offers. I just want peoples advice.

Loans Guide answers:
Before you sign with a debt consolidation company, you should look into getting a second job, selling things you can live without, and/or cutting your expenses in order to pay off the payday loans. A debt consolidation company is going to cost you money and may reflect on your credit report, which you do not want.
Can you borrow from a relative to get you through? Or use a combination of the above ideas + your 401k to cover your loans?

Linda asks…
Debt consolidation?
Okay, I did something dumb and got into some cash problems. Took out a couple payday loans and I have racked my credit cards up. Can you consolidate all your loans and bills and stuff into one payment. How good of an idea is this. Anyone ever done and who did you go through. I wish I could just make one payment. Can I stop these loan companies from just debiting my account????I need help asap?????

Loans Guide answers:
Practically any type of loan can be wrapped into the debt consolidation process. Common types include finance charges, late fees and overdraft charges, credit cards, personal loans, utility bills, medical bills, car loans, store cards, gas cards and back taxes.
Unlike bankruptcy, in which debts are cancelled and your credit rating collapses completely, debt consolidation loans are essentially a type of refinancing, where several old loans are replaced with a new one that has more favorable terms.

Daniel asks…
Debt consolidation for collection accounts?
Can you seek consolidation if you only have collections in your history? Thats the only thing that’s hurting my credit. I don’t have any credit card debt or repo’s or anything like that. I have alot of payday loans that went into default and they’re on my credit. Also once you go into default with a loan company and then pay them off are you elgible to reloan with them? I’d also like to know how to obtain my chexsystems report.

Loans Guide answers:
A word of advice: before you pay off those collections, try to negotiate with them that they will take all mention of the problems off all the credit bureaus. IF SO, GET IT IN WRITING! They want the money, they are negotiable.
How would you be doing this consolidation?
About reloaning with the loan company: it is up to each company to qualify or reject you. If they went to collection, typically they figured you would never pay them so a collection company paid them maybe 8 – 25 cents on the dollar and just try to get back what they can from you. Thus the lender may have already absorbed the loss from you and not be so open. Maybe if you have a good reason, like health problems.

James asks…
bill consolidation company?
is there one bill consolidation by name that has actually combined payday loans, or government agency that will help like they are doing for sub-prime lenders, please no web sites, a actual name and phone number

Loans Guide answers:
Direct Consolidation Loans allow borrowers to combine one or more of their Federal education loans into a new loan that offers several advantages.

Donna asks…
PayDay Loans have buried me!?
Ok, so I was very stupid to start taking these loans in the first place. The first one was ok, it was through a reputable company, and for a $500 loan, I ended up paying $600. Not bad. But then I started taking out loans through these on-line places. Between my wife and I, we have 7 out and are paying almost $1000 a month. For some of them I’m paying $90 every two weeks, and that has’nt touched the principal yet. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can out from these ASAP. I’ve thought about debt consolidation. I tried to get a personal loan from my bank to pay the payday loans off, but I was denied. Anyone who has been in similair circumstances and has some advice, it would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
I think these companies are complete rip-offs, but I still borrowed the money, therefore…I am going to pay it back. I think closing my bank account is a cowards way out, I got myself into this, I found them, they did’nt find me. I defaulted on one because they had my paydays wrong and tried to withdraw two days early. Well they called me and have set up some more acceptable payment plans. If I can’t find a decent consolidation plan, I think that may be the best bet.

Loans Guide answers:
You need to use the snowball method. Get rid of the one with the highest interest while paying the others with a little more than just the minimum payment. Then once that debt is gone, combine that with the minium to pay the second one, just like a snow ball!!

Payday loan?
found a payday loan few weeks back and cant remember the website now….its for the uk, payday loan and when inserting details you need to type in either driving licence or passport id must be valid. do u know the name of the site, thanks

Loans Guide answers:
If you do that, it will likely be the most expensive money you have ever received. A cash advance on a credit card, as horrible as that is, would be better.
Please put together a budget, so that you can save some money so that you never have these thoughts again!
Payday loans are just another way that the poor get poorer.

Linda asks…
Re: Payday Loan companies?
Please could anyone enlighten me on why most Payday Loan companies are either MEM or Payday uk advertising with different names but different tel no, also when go into their contact details they are all the same address in bicester oxford, would appreciate any replies, thanks

Loans Guide answers:
A lot of companies do that-trade under other names possibly making people feel they have more of a choice. But I wouldn’t go anywhere near a loan company to borrow money. I would do without until I had saved up. Thats what we were taught as kids.
I only borrowed to get a house-mortgage.

Chris asks…
Took out a payday loan and now someone has taken money from my account? UK?
I took out a small payday loan last night to get my car repaired and the money was in within 2 hours but today I went to draw my money out and someone had taken £61.50 from my card. It hasn’t gone out yet and is pending but the Bank can’t tell me who is taking it? I asked if they could put a block on it but they can’t. £61.50 seems an odd amount but seems strange that I got £80 payday loan last night and a few hours later someone takes £61.50? My bank says that someone had put a £1 on my account and then took the money? I have to ring the bank tomorrow to see if they can tell me who has taken it? What can I do?
My bank says the money was taken in the early hours of the morning?
I went on a few sites to apply and some turned me down?
All the sites ask for your card details before they decide if they will accept you or not?

Loans Guide answers:
Looks like you might have been scammed, they shouldn’t be asking for credit card details straight away. Go to your bank manager or at least someone at your local branch and talk it through. There will usually be some fraud prevention measures in place. Also as a precaution I’d suggest you cancel your cards or empty your accounts.

Carol asks…
Is there any payday loan comnpany who will lend to a home maker ?
i want a payday loan based on my income alone , I am in uk , 28 yrs old married and claiming tax credits have a awful credit rating due to ex , but need money fast as my cooker as blown up

Loans Guide answers:
Research a company before doing business with them.
Google the company name followed by the word scam or rip-off.
There are many companies out there that will take advantage of you and give you nothing in return.
I would NOT do this online – not even in my dreams.’
Be smart – be wise and don’t let anyone take advantage of you.

Mandy asks…
I need a $2500 loan, I have bad credit, I don`t want a payday loan and no scam artist from Africa or UK. ?

Loans Guide answers:
With bad credit you’re not going to get a lender to hand over $2500 without paying exorbitant interest rates, possibly similar to a payday loan. In any case, you should be living within your means rather than borrowing more. How do you think your credit became bad in the first place?

Does anyone no the physical address to Instant Wages or In My Account Now, online payday loan companies?

Loans Guide answers:
These “companies” aren’t likely to have physical addresses, except the street address for the house where the site owners live.
Instantwages.com uses “Silent Register” to disguise their ownership information. Silent Register is based in Canada — that’s no indication that the actual site owner lives there, though.
No such site as Inmyaccountnow.com — did you mean Accountnow.com? If so, they have a mailing address in San Ramon, CA.

instant loan companies?
I’m in dire need of £1000 in the next few days. Anyone know of a good loan company that provide instant decisions and instant cash? I need to be able to pay it back over at least 24 months if not longer. I don’t think my credit rating is that good either, I’m not sure. Also, I’m not looking for anything like a payday loan. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Loans Guide answers:
There are no *instant loans* for those with bad credit.
Don’t bother replying to the spammers here, they will just want your money, and they are not lenders anyways…there is no loan with them!
